How I organize client work in Notion without losing my mind
A practical walkthrough of my client dashboard template — from onboarding to delivery.
I used to have client info scattered across email threads, Google Docs, and my own brain. That stopped when I built a single Notion dashboard that tracks every project stage.
Here's the structure: a master database with status, deadlines, and deliverables. Each client gets a page with briefs, notes, and a timeline. The key is using linked databases so one change updates everywhere — no manual copying.
For example, when I mark a deliverable as 'sent', it automatically updates the project status. The client never asks 'where's that file?' because I can share a filtered view. It's not fancy, it's just consistent.
I've refined this over two years. The template includes it all, but even if you build your own, the principle is: one source of truth, and let the database do the work.
