Release note: Studio OS 2.0 is a smaller, faster system

We removed two databases, merged three views, and rewrote the setup guide. Here's what changed and why.

Studio OS 2.0 is live for everyone who owns it — check your email for a fresh duplicate link. The headline is subtraction: two databases are gone, three views are merged, and the setup guide is now a single page you can read in five minutes.

The old Ideas database was the problem. It had eleven properties and I watched people fill in maybe four of them. In 2.0, Ideas is a lightweight inbox with a status and a one-line pitch. When something graduates, it moves to Projects, which carries the real structure. Fewer fields, fewer excuses to avoid capturing a thought.

The launch view changed too. Instead of a separate Launch database, each project now has a launch checklist as a linked page template. It's one less place to check and it keeps the launch tied to the thing being launched. If you were using the standalone Launch tracker, the migration notes in the guide cover how to fold it in.

Existing owners keep their current copy forever. To move to 2.0, duplicate the new link into a fresh page and copy your project rows over — the property names are unchanged, so a straight paste works. If you hit a snag, reply to the update email and I'll help you sort it.
