Release note: cleaner databases and dashboards that load faster
What changed in this month's template update, why I removed three properties, and how to migrate without losing your data.
This month's update is mostly subtraction. I removed three properties from the content pipeline that nobody was filling in, folded two more into a single select, and rebuilt every dashboard view so it loads without the half-second stall. If you've been using the templates for a while, you'll notice the difference the moment you open them.
The migration is manual on purpose. Duplicate the new version, then copy your existing pages into the matching databases rather than the other way around. It takes about ten minutes and you keep your relations intact. I wrote a short step-by-step in the setup guide that ships with the update.
One addition worth calling out: the launch tracker now has a rollup that shows days remaining per asset, not just per launch. That came from my own mistake in March, when I missed a email sequence deadline because the launch date looked fine while the assets underneath were already late.
Everyone who owns these templates gets the new duplicate link by email today. Your old link still works, so nothing breaks if you're mid-project and want to finish before switching.
