How I stopped losing client documents in Notion
A simple folder system inside Notion that cuts document search time by 80%.
For months, my client folder was a black hole. I'd spend ten minutes hunting for a brief, a contract, or a feedback doc — often during a call with that very client. Embarrassing, and expensive.
The fix turned out to be absurdly simple: a three-tier folder structure inside Notion. Each client gets a page, inside that a database of projects, and inside each project a linked database of assets. The key is using Notion's database views — a gallery for visual briefs, a table for contracts, and a list for feedback. It took one afternoon to set up, and now I never lose anything.
If you're drowning in pages, try this: one master database of all clients, then a relation to a projects database, then a relation to an assets database. Use rollups to see the latest file at a glance. It's not glamorous, but it works.
