How I structure my Notion dashboard for quarterly goals
A practical walkthrough of the dashboard I use to align daily tasks with big-picture objectives.
I used to keep goals in one place and tasks in another. The result? I'd hit my weekly task count but drift away from what actually mattered. Here's how I fixed that.
My Notion dashboard has three sections: a top-level view of the quarter's objectives, a monthly breakdown of key results, and a weekly task list that I roll over each Monday. The trick is linking each task back to a specific objective using relations and rollups. That way, every checkbox is a small step toward a larger outcome.
Start with no more than three objectives per quarter. Add key results that are measurable (for me, that might be 'launch two templates' or 'grow email list to 1,000'). Then, each week, I create tasks that directly support those results. If a task doesn't tie back, it gets dropped. This keeps my dashboard lean and my focus sharp.
