How I structure my weekly review in Notion (and why you should too)
A 45-minute weekly ritual that keeps my projects on track without overwhelm.
I used to end every week feeling like I’d been busy but not productive. Client requests slipped, personal projects languished, and Monday morning was a scramble.
Then I built a simple weekly review template in Notion. It has three sections: Wins, Lessons, and Next Actions. Wins are not brags — they’re anything I completed. Lessons are one sentence about what I’d do differently. Next Actions list the three most important tasks for the coming week.
That’s it. The whole thing takes 45 minutes on Friday afternoon. Since I started, my project completion rate has doubled. No more Monday panic.
