How I Use Notion to Automate Digital Product Delivery (and Save 4 Hours a Week)

A step-by-step breakdown of my automated delivery system — from purchase notification to customer access — that runs on Notion and a few simple integrations.

When I started selling Notion templates, delivery was manual. A customer bought, I got an email, I copied a link, I pasted it into a message, and sent. Fifteen clicks per order. At 50 orders a week, that's over 12 hours of copy-paste hell.

So I built a system. Here's the core: a Notion database that logs each sale via a webhook from my payment processor (Gumroad). The database auto-generates a unique access page for each customer with their template link, instructions, and a support button. I use Zapier to send the access page URL directly to the buyer's email — no hands needed.

The result? Delivery happens in under 2 seconds. Customers get a branded, helpful welcome. And I reclaimed 4 hours every week. The template I built for this is now in the shop, but you can recreate it in 20 minutes with a free Zapier account and a little Notion know-how.
