How to Build a Content Batch Workflow in Notion (Without Losing Your Mind)

Batching is the only way I stay sane as a solo creator. Instead of writing a post every day, I carve out two focused blocks a week and produce a month’s worth of content. Here’s the exact Notion system I use.
Start with a Content Database where every row is a piece of content — blog post, newsletter, tweet, whatever. Add fields for Status, Channel, and Date. Then create a view filtered to ‘Draft’ and sort by Priority. That’s your queue.
When you sit down to batch, don’t write in the database. Open a separate page per piece, write the raw copy, then paste it back as the database’s ‘Content’ property. This keeps your database clean and fast.
Finally, set up a recurring checklist template for each batch session: review analytics from last month, pull 5 ideas from your idea bank, then write. I also add a ‘Done’ date so I can see at a glance if I’m ahead.
