Release Notes: What Changed in the Content OS This Month
New publishing calendar view, a repurposing tracker, and a smaller database that's easier to maintain.
The Content OS got its first real overhaul since launch. The biggest change is the publishing calendar — it's now a proper Notion calendar view filtered by status, so you can see the whole month at a glance instead of scrolling a table wondering what's due.
Second, I added a repurposing tracker. Every piece of long-form content gets a sub-page where you log the derivative posts, emails, and threads you pulled from it. This is the thing that actually moved traffic for me — I stopped writing new content for two weeks and just repurposed, and my newsletter open rate held steady.
Third, and this is the unglamorous one: I cut the main database from 22 properties to 11. Nobody was using the tags I'd invented. Fewer fields means you'll actually fill them in.
If you already own the Content OS, check your inbox — the update email went out with a fresh duplicate link. Your existing copy won't change. Migrate whenever it makes sense, or don't. Both are fine.
