Release notes: what changed in the v2 template set
A short, honest changelog covering the launch tracker rebuild, the new idea inbox, and the sections I removed on purpose.
Version 2 is live for everyone who already owns the set. The biggest change is the launch tracker. The old version had fourteen status options, which sounded thorough and was actually a way to avoid making decisions. It now has five, and every one of them maps to a single next action.
The idea inbox got rebuilt around capture speed. You can drop a thought, a link, or a rough screenshot into one field and sort it later. Nothing asks you to categorize at the moment of entry, because that is exactly when people abandon a system.
I also deleted things. The weekly review dashboard is gone, replaced by a plain checklist. The habit tracker is gone entirely. Both were features I liked looking at and did not use, and I suspect that was true for most of you too.
Existing owners get the new duplicate link by email today. If you customized v1 heavily, do not overwrite it. Duplicate v2 alongside, move the pieces you want, and retire the old one when you are ready. The setup guide has a migration checklist if you want the short version.
