Release note: Idea Vault v2 ships with a scoring system

The most-requested feature is here: a lightweight way to decide which idea deserves your next two weeks.

Idea Vault v2 is live for everyone who owns the template. The headline change is a scoring block that asks four questions about each idea: does it solve a problem I already understand, can I ship a first version in under two weeks, does it connect to something I'm already publishing, and would I still care about it in six months. Each answer is worth one to three points, and the vault sorts itself.

The old version had a simple status field, and most people ended up with forty ideas marked "maybe." That's not a system, that's a parking lot. The score gives you a reason to archive things without guilt. You can still override it, and you should, but now the default is a decision instead of a delay.

I also rebuilt the review view so it only surfaces ideas above a threshold you set. Mine is 9 out of 12. Anything below that goes into a separate archive I check once a quarter. In practice this means I look at three or four ideas instead of thirty, and I've shipped two of them in the past month.

If you own v1, check your email for the new duplicate link and a short migration guide. Your existing entries carry over. If you're new, the template page has the full walkthrough, and updates like this one are included for life.
