Release note: Studio OS 3.0 and what changed under the hood
A leaner project database, a rebuilt content pipeline, and one feature we removed on purpose.
Studio OS 3.0 is live for everyone who owns a copy, and the update email is already in your inbox. The headline change is the project database. It used to carry nineteen properties. It now carries eleven, and the eight we cut were the ones nobody filled in past week one.
The content pipeline got rebuilt around a single board instead of three linked views. You draft, schedule, and archive in one place. Testers said the old version felt like filing taxes. This one feels like a whiteboard.
One thing we removed: the automated time-tracking rollup. It depended on a formula that broke every time Notion tweaked its date handling, and the numbers were never accurate enough to bill from. If you used it, the old pages are still in your duplicate, untouched.
Upgrading is optional and non-destructive. Grab the new duplicate link, copy over your data, and delete what you don't need. Setup guide has a five-step migration section at the bottom. As always, the update is free for life.
