The one dashboard that replaced my to-do list (and my sanity)
How I stopped drowning in daily tasks by building a single Notion view that prioritizes what actually matters.
I used to live in my to-do list app. Every morning, I'd write down tasks, reorder them, and still feel like I was forgetting something. The problem wasn't the app — it was that I had no way to separate the urgent from the important.
I built a single Notion dashboard that pulls tasks from my projects, client work, and recurring routines into one view. Each task is tagged with energy level and deadline, so I can filter by 'high energy, due today' and know exactly where to start.
Now I spend exactly 10 minutes per day on task management. The rest goes into actual work. If you're spending more than that on your to-do list, you might need a better system — not more discipline.
